'Birds for sale'

From time to time especially in the winter months we stock take and sell off all our surplus birds. The following list are birds currently available for sale. If a bird is not listed we may be able to help at a later stage or point you to a breeder. We can also act as a bird exchange. We are often contacted by people looking for or wishing to sell/donate birds. Donated birds stay here or go to a good home (donator must agree) but we may end up with others becoming available. If you have a bird you wish to sell or even donate send please contact us, if we can help/have someone on our books that is looking for one we put you in touch. If we don't we can list it here for you. There is a small fee for using the exchange service ( maximum $5 on a successful exchange).

Fantail Doves

30+ tame $2 each. All you need is a dovecote and away you go. They will need a couple of weeks of captivity before releasing them. Feed Prolay chicken pellets or kibbled maize.

Muscovy Ducks

6+ tame $5 - $10 each. Younger ones available as well as breeding pairs. They will want a pond, grass or pond weed, household scraps and food as above.

Bantams

We have surplus Silkie roosters or a single white pair. $10 each. 2 Frizzel Cocks $5 and $10. Pekins, other mixes available.

Peafowl

All sold. Young available again June 2009.

Indian Ringneck Parakeets

2 Males Green/Yellow $30 each.
